Adam filming on a tripod-mounted cinema camera at a live event

About

I'm Adam.

I'm a freelance videographer and content creator based in Macclesfield, Cheshire, with over ten years behind the camera.

I work with brands, businesses, venues, agencies and event organisers to create cinematic video content that feels natural, engaging and built for modern audiences.

My work ranges from corporate interviews and brand films to large events, fitness content, hospitality, multi-camera productions and social campaigns. I edit in DaVinci Resolve, and I also take on edit-only projects for companies with existing footage.

I regularly work across Manchester, Cheshire and the wider North West, and travel throughout the UK and internationally for selected productions.

The aim isn't just something that looks good — it's something people actually want to watch.

The real cost of cheap video

Why the wrong videographer hurts your brand.

I've spent over ten years obsessing over what makes people keep watching — the light, the pacing, the grade, the details nobody consciously notices but everybody feels. When big brands need high-impact video, they call me because they know I don't cut corners and I will deliver. Here's why that matters more than the day rate.

Can the wrong videographer actually hurt my brand?

+

Yes. Your video is often the first thing a customer sees, and viewers judge your business by it in seconds. Flat lighting, shaky footage, muddy sound and a generic edit tell people your brand cuts corners — even if your product doesn't. A cheap video that makes you look cheap is the most expensive video you can buy.

How does a bad video end up costing more?

+

Twice over. First you pay for the shoot that doesn't work — then you pay again to reshoot it properly, while the weak video sits online doing damage in the meantime. Add the lost sales, the wasted ad spend pushing a film nobody finishes, and the internal time managing a fix, and the 'budget' option costs far more than doing it right once.

What does 'not cutting corners' actually mean on a shoot?

+

It means the lighting is shaped, not just switched on. Audio is recorded properly, not hoped for. Every frame is planned for where it will live — your site, your socials, your ads — before the camera rolls. I shoot 6K open gate so nothing is lost, and I grade every frame myself in DaVinci Resolve. The details nobody notices are the ones that make people feel quality.
